Pendleton Fall Creek Heritage Fair & Fall Festival 2026: Everything You Need to Know Before You Go

Mark your calendar! One of Pendleton’s favorite annual traditions is almost here.

The Pendleton Fall Creek Heritage Fair & Fall Festival returns Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day in Historic Falls Park and Downtown Pendleton, Indiana.

Whether you’re a lifelong resident, new to the area, or visiting Pendleton for the first time, this family-friendly festival is one of the best ways to experience the small-town charm, history, and sense of community that make Pendleton such a wonderful place to live.

Why the Pendleton Heritage Fair Is a Community Favorite

Every fall, Historic Falls Park and Downtown Pendleton come alive with vendors, food, entertainment, activities, and local organizations.

But the Heritage Fair is more than just a festival. It’s a celebration of the history, local businesses, and community spirit that make Pendleton special.

It’s the kind of weekend where you’ll run into neighbors, discover a new local vendor, grab something delicious to eat, and spend the day enjoying one of Pendleton’s most beautiful settings.

What You’ll Find at the Festival

There’s plenty to see and do throughout the weekend, including:

  • 150+ arts, crafts, and specialty vendors

  • Festival food and local favorites

  • Live music and entertainment

  • Family-friendly activities

  • Petting zoo

  • Quilt show

  • Antique tractor and engine show

  • Lucky Duck Race

  • Historic downtown shopping

  • Community organizations

  • Seasonal décor and handcrafted gifts

Whether you’re coming to shop, eat, explore, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for just about everyone.

Explore Historic Downtown Pendleton

One of the best parts of the Heritage Fair is its location.

While you’re at the festival, take some time to explore Historic Downtown Pendleton. You’ll find locally owned boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and small businesses tucked among the historic buildings that give downtown its character.

And, of course, Falls Park is worth exploring on its own. Its trails, mature trees, creek views, and historic features make it one of the places that truly defines Pendleton.

Fun for the Whole Family

The Pendleton Heritage Fair is an easy event to enjoy as a family.

Kids can check out games, activities, and the petting zoo, while adults browse artisan vendors, antique displays, seasonal décor, and handcrafted items.

Add in live entertainment and plenty of festival food, and you can easily make an entire day of it.

Why Events Like This Make Pendleton So Special

As local REALTORS®, we spend a lot of time talking about homes, neighborhoods, schools, and property values. But choosing where to live is about much more than the house itself.

It’s about the community around it.

Events like the Heritage Fair give neighbors a chance to connect, support local businesses and organizations, and continue traditions that have been part of the community for years.

That strong sense of community is one of the reasons so many people love calling Pendleton home.

Thinking About Moving to Pendleton?

If you’ve been considering a move to Pendleton, Heritage Fair weekend is a great time to explore the area.
